Covid-19 - what we are doing

The health, safety and well being of our customers, visitors and employees is paramount. Here's what we're doing to make sure that you have, and can continue to have, a safe and enjoyable experience at Saltaire Brewery.

We are closely monitoring the Covid-19 situation and following NHS and Public Health England advice to make sure that our customers, visitors and employees can continue to have a safe and enjoyable experience at the Brewery, in our Taproom, and at our events.

Our team is taking extra precautions to reduce the risk of spreading infection, through cleaning, regular hand washing, and limiting the handling of used glassware and cash. We encourage Taproom customers to pay by contactless card payments in preference to cash if possible.

We are supporting our team with advice and regular updates on any Covid-19 developments and we’re open for business as usual.

We are watching developments closely and should anything change, we’re ready to respond.

Home delivery service starts - 19/03/20

To help people stay safe at home and continue to enjoy our beer during self-isolation and social distancing, we are starting a free beer delivery service for selected Bradford postcodes. Buy our beer in bottles, cans, mini-casks, bag-in-boxes and we will deliver for free if you live in BD10, BD16, BD17 or BD18 postcodes. Call 01274 594959 between 8.30am and 4.30pm to find out what we have and how to order. Or leave us a message and we'll call you back.

Taproom and Shop is open - 17/03/20

Our Taproom and Shop is open as usual to offer refreshment to anyone who’s out and about to get some exercise and fresh air along the Leeds Liverpool canal. Our team is taking extra precautions with handling cash and glasses, cleaning and handwashing, and is very happy to serve people who are fit and well.

Our cycling and dog walking regulars are welcome and can continue to enjoy our large beer garden – although you might want to bring a big coat! And as keeping a safe distance is important, our team is happy to come out and take your order – whether it’s for drinking on site, or bottles and cans to take away in preparation for staying at home.

We totally understand if people want to stay away, and if any of our team have any of the Covid 19 symptoms we’ve asked them to do likewise, and follow Government advice! We keep monitoring the situation and may have to reduce our opening hours. Should that happen, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.

27 March Beer Club Update - 14/03/20

After careful thought and consideration of the health and safety of our team, our customers and our Beer Club partners, we have decided to cancel the March Beer Club.

The Covid-19 situation is changing so rapidly that we decided to take the initiative now, to reduce the negative financial impact on our Beer Club partners, and to protect the wellbeing of anyone who helps to make it happen, including our team and our Beer Clubbers.

We are disappointed. We were looking forward to our first Beer Club for 2020 and had a couple of special beery treats lined up as well as even more beers, music and food choice. Tickets for the rest of the year’s Beer Clubs are currently available, and we will keep monitoring the Government’s Covid-19 advice to make sure that we can go ahead with them confidently.

In the meantime, our Taproom and shop remains open for business as usual, and anyone who has bought tickets for 27 March on Eventbrite will be automatically refunded in full.
